Vision and Mission

Mission

Providing faith growing, life changing mission trips in the US and EU for teens and young adults.

Vision

We want to see young people in the US and the EU grow in their faith and personal skills through intential, relational trips done through relationships between organizations, churches, and missionaries in the US and EU. God has called all of us believers to go into all the world and we want young people to grasp that calling, not only for their churches and local communities, but also the world. Through relaitonships, true faith growth, authentic discipleship, and awareness of what God is doing in the global Church can happen.

Tory Almond, a former youth pastor and missionary, recently began leading teams to assist a Christian camp in Latvia. The trip sparked spiritual and personal growth in team members and the local church, both during the visit and for months, even years, after. The teams saw strong discipleship among those they served and within their own leaders. Tory’s passion for young people and missions has shaped his calling to help other youth pastors and churches see similar growth when young people follow God’s call to go into the world.

This calling led to the formation of Follow the Call Missions.

We want to provide the opportunity for this growth in the lives of young people by partnering with churches to lead small, intentional groups of students and young adults to work alongside missionaries and organizations throughout Europe, with a focus on spiritual growth and discipleship.

Participants will engage with God and trust Him to provide like they’ve never experienced before, allowing for significant spiritual growth. Meanwhile, the local church will be challenged to work together as a community to help support their team spiritually, emotionally and financially, the entire church to be a part of what God is doing globally while seeing God move in amazing ways. Not only do the trips provide a great opportunity to help missionaries and organizations in Europe, they will also provide great exposure in the American churches to what God is doing in the spiritually dark continent of Europe.

Mission trips to Europe give churches and groups a chance to build closer relationships. Language is less of a barrier—many people, especially young people, speak good English—so you can connect without a translator. After the trip, it’s easy to stay in touch by phone, social media, and messaging apps. Europeans can also send teams to America for missions, internships, and discipleship.

Tory looks forward to helping young people grow in their faith, building greater community within the local church, and strengthening ties between churches in the United States and Europe through Follow The Call Missions.
