Purpose of the Trip

Restoring the Multi-Function Room as a dedicated space for Art, Youth Discipleship, and Outreach Events - completed by a team of people from the United States, working side by side with local Latvian churches, ahead of the Salvation Temple's 100th anniversary in 2027.

Scope of the Work

These are the things that need to be done. We are looking at a trip in the fall of 2026 and potentially spring 2027 to accomplish these tasks. There will be professionals on site to help, experience isn’t necessary but helpful. Along with doing the work, we would like to help raise part of the cost for materials. This would be approximately $8000.

• Ceiling: removed, re-boarded, plastered, painted

• Walls: stripped, surfaces repaired, and repainted

• Floor: wooden floor scraped and restored

• Kitchen: a small kitchenette/buffet added

• Lighting & electrics: rewired and modernized

• Heating: wood pellet stove installed
