faith growing, life changing experiences

Challenge your teens and young adults to grow their faith in God while providing them experiences that will change their lives forever through a mission trip to Europe.

Why Europe?

  • Group of six friends outdoors on grass, throwing water balloons, with a soccer ball nearby, in a sunny park with a building and other people in the background. Camp gets a little crazy!

    Relationships

Unlike other parts of the world, it’s very easy to connect with teens and adults in Europe which leads to building relationships much easier. Music, social media trends, movies, and television blend a lot between the two continents. People travel back and forth between the two easily. Social media and messaging apps help continue developing relationships between groups and individuals, long after a trip.

Relationships are key to continued ministry between churches and organizations in Europe and the United States.

  • Three girls sitting with their backs to the camera on a wooden dock near a lake, forming a heart shape with their hands above their heads. Friendships at camp are amazing.

    Language

Social media, gaming, and streaming networks have helped young people grasp the English language quickly as a second language. This makes it so much easier to communicate and build those relationships between groups when you don’t need a translator for basic communication.

  • Audience seated in chairs facing a small stage with musical instruments and two performers, in a large room with wooden flooring and colorful lighting. The new chapel at Ergla Sparni in Latvia is amazing.

    Faith Building

Doing a mission trip to Europe develops faith in so many ways. The cost of the trip pushes groups to rely on God to show up to provide. Church members and other believers faith also grows as they help teams gather the needs for trip and see God continually show up in amazing ways. On a trip, the group is stretched beyond their comfort zones in many ways and have to trust God to provide peace and strength. And then there’s the faith growth seen in the groups who are being ministered to as the groups works together side by side to accomplish the call of sharing the Good News with the world.

  • Two young people standing on the back of a camouflaged military-style vehicle near a large wooden cross at a scenic overlook with a vast landscape in the background. When you bring a European to America, nothing beats a hill climb in hummer.

    Cross Cultural Opportunities

An exciting part of building relationships between the United States and Europe is the ability to also bring teams from Europe to the United States. There’s interest in groups wanting to come serve alongside churches here in the United States. What a great way to see the Church grow globally as churches in both continents are exposed to what God is doing throughout the world!

And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 NLT

Follow the Call provides opportunities for faith growth and spiritual discipleship in the lives of young people by partnering with churches in the United States to lead small, intentional groups of students and young adults to work alongside missionaries and organizations throughout Europe.

We look forward to working with you and your group to provide a truly life and faith changing experience.
